- Accumulator
- A single bet that combines multiple selections, and all must win for you to get a payout, with winnings rolling over from each selection.
- Asian Handicap
- A bet that gives one team a hypothetical advantage or disadvantage to eliminate the draw option, often resulting in fractional or quarter goal lines.
- Bankroll Management
- The practice of setting a budget for betting and deciding how much to wager on each bet to avoid losing too much.
- Bookmaker Margin
- The built-in advantage a bookmaker has in the odds, ensuring they make a profit over the long term.
- Both Teams To Score
- A bet on whether both teams will score at least one goal during the match.
- Cash Out
- A feature that lets you settle your bet before the event ends, locking in a profit or loss based on the current score.
- Correct Score
- A bet on the exact final score of the match, such as 2-1 or 3-0.
- Decimal Odds
- A way to express odds as a single number, for example 2.50, which tells you the total return per unit staked.
- Draw No Bet
- A bet on which team will win, but if the match ends in a draw you get your stake back.
- Fractional Odds
- A way to express odds as a fraction, for example 3/1, where the first number is the profit you make for every unit of the second number staked.
- Half-Time/Full-Time
- A bet on the result at half-time and the result at the full-time whistle, combined into one wager.
- Implied Probability
- The chance of an outcome happening according to the odds, expressed as a percentage.
- In-Play Betting
- Bets placed after the match has started, with odds that change as the game unfolds.
- KYC
- Know Your Customer, a process where the bookmaker verifies your identity and age to prevent fraud and ensure legal compliance.
- Line Movement
- The change in odds or point spread over time, often due to betting activity or new information.
- Moneyline
- A bet on which team will win the match, with the potential payout set according to the perceived chance of that team winning.
- Odds Boost
- A promotion that increases the odds on a particular selection, offering a higher potential payout.
- Outright Betting
- Bets on the overall winner of a tournament, league, or competition, rather than a single match.
- Over/Under
- A bet on whether the total number of goals/scores in a match will be higher or lower than a number set by the bookmaker.
- Payout
- The total amount of money you receive when a bet wins, including your original stake and profit.
- Point Spread
- A bet on whether a team will win by more or less than a set margin of points/goals, used to level the playing field.
- Pre-Match Betting
- Bets placed before the match begins, with odds fixed at the time of the wager.
- Prop Bet
- A bet on a specific event within a match, such as which player scores first or how many yellow cards are given.
- Stake
- The amount of money you put on a bet.
- Value Bet
- A bet where the odds offered are higher than the true probability of the outcome, giving you an expected advantage.
